Court of Wings and Ruin
The third in the Court of Thorns and Roses series finds Feyre back in the Spring Court feigning loyalty to the Spring Court and Tamlin but in reality she is spying on him and Hybern. Prythian is on the brink of war with Hybern and since he has the Cauldron, the High Lords are scrambling to find a way to defeat him but that means an alliance with Courts that are sworn enemies.

Sarai has lived and breathed nightmares since she was six years old.
She believed she knew every horror and was beyond surprise.
She was wrong.

Sisters of Glass

Halan is the daughter of a king in a world where magic rules all. She has no magic. There worlds collide when Nalah is forced to enter Halan's world to find her father. It surprises them both when they discover that they are the same person from different worlds. Together they will defeat the evil magic wielders and save the people.
The Book Jumper
This book was not quite what I expected but I liked it anyway. With my love of books, it would be amazing to have the ability to enter any story at any point and see and experience the story first hand. This story shows how important the smallest things and the basic story ideas are important to the finished product. It would be dangerous to think that one small change would make every copy of the story, no matter where or when, become different or maybe not exist at all. This would be a huge job and maybe not as glorious as it seems at the beginning.
Three Mages and a Margarita
Because Tory doesn't take flak off of customers and has a little temper, she keeps losing jobs as a waitress. She goes to apply in a sketchy neighborhood, and is asked to take the evening shift as a tryout. During this shift she throws a drink at one of the customers who was hassling her, saying "after all this trouble, if you're not going to drink it, you'll wear it". The next day she finds out, she's been serving magicians, who could really make her life miserable.
The Hidden Witch
In this sequel to The Witch Boy, Aster and his family are adjusting to his unconventional talent for witchery; unlike the other boys in his family, he isn't a shapeshifter. He's taking classes with his grandmother and helping to keep an eye on his great-uncle whose corrupted magic wreaked havoc on the family.
Joplin, Wishing
Joplin never knew her grandfather but when he dies she and her mom still have to clean out his house. Her grandfather was a famous author and all her mom wants are his papers, but she does let Joplin have one keepsake. Joplin takes a broken platter in a tin. When she gets it home her mom's friend Jen helps her get it restored. The first person they take it to is Lucius Doyle who creeps them both out. Dragons in a Bag
Jax isn't happy that his mama dropped him off with an old lady he has never met. And then it turns out Ma is a witch and has a bag of dragons to deliver to a magical dimension. While Jax agrees to work with Ma as her assistant for the day, things don't go exactly as planned. First they don't make it to the magical world but to the past in the time of dinosaurs instead! And then Ma and Jax get separated and Jax is left on his own with the dragons. He gets help and eventually finds Ma again, but of course things still don't go to plan.
Princess of the Silver Woods
This final book in the trilogy may have been my favorite. Petunia is no shrinking violet and I liked the added Red Riding Hood twist. It would be nice to know a little more about the other 9 sisters, but at least we get a glimpse in this one.
Princess of Glass
This second book was a fun continuation of life after dancing. It had a prince, a princess and a fairy godmother - only she wasn't so nice. Love wins in the end, but the journey was fun to follow.
9 From the Nine Worlds (Magnus Chase and the Gods of Asgard)
This was quick story, but it was a nice addition to the Magnus Chase series. I liked learning more about the supporting characters and more about the Norse legends.
Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald The Original Screenplay
This was a quick read. I knew the general plan, having seen tons of movie previews, but enjoyed it the same. I want to see the movie since the beasts are always worth viewing. I'm looking forward to see how Rowling is going to continue this story and reconcile it with what we know from the Harry Potter series.
Ogre Enchanted
This was a fun story about wishes, dreams, and desires. Sometimes a person needs to live in another's shoes to truly understand the concept of love, devotion and true friendship. Evie thinks she has her life all mapped out until a fairy named Lucinda turns it upside down. Her best friend Wormy wants more than just being her test subject which results in Evie becoming an ogre with human feelings. It's a twisted tale to find true love, honest friendship, and a meaningful path in life. Along the way you will meet a wide variety of characters, some nice and some not so much.
Fridays with the Wizards
Fridays with the Wizards has Castle Glower all together for the first time in hundreds of years. Back from their adventures in The Glorious Arkower (otherwise known as Hatheland), there is much to do. With the wedding between Lulath and Lila on the horizon, all the new griffins to train and the dilemma of what to do with the evil wizard Arkwright there is never a dull moment in this edition of the Castle Glower series. I enjoyed this installment of the series as much as the others and can't wait to read the last one!
Iron and Magic
No day is ordinary in a world where Technology and Magic compete for supremacy…But no matter which force is winning, in the apocalypse, a sword will always work.
