Central Missouri Master Gardeners Presents: Pawpaws! Missouri's State Fruit Tree

Retired MU Horticulturist James Quinn will review the pros and cons for a gardener interested in growing Pawpaws. A number of new cultivars have been released, that dramatically improve the fruit quality. The history of pawpaws will be covered, as well as all aspects on how to grow. Samples for tasting will be provided at the presentation conclusion, Pawpaw tapioca pudding (dairy free but with egg) and panicotta (contains milk & gelatin); both are gluten free.
