Virtual Meeting Rooms are provided for the community and users must follow these rules:
- No solicitation or selling items.
- No fundraising or requests for donations.
- No charge for attendance.
The individual initiating the request must be 18 years of age, and will be considered the official representative of the group and will assume responsibility of communicating meeting room regulations to the group. Virtual rooms are available to community groups, non-profits, and businesses.
The Virtual Meeting Room is hosted on the Zoom platform. By scheduling your meeting through the Library, you will have an unlimited amount of time for your meeting and up to 300 attendees! There are also additional features, such as screen sharing and chat controls.
We expect someone in the meeting to be the Host and be familiar with Zoom, or receive Zoom training beforehand. Here are some links to Zoom Support to learn how to use the service:
System Requirements for Computers and Mobile Devices
All meetings should be scheduled at least one business day in advance (Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm). A library staff member will NOT be available to attend your meeting, so you must be comfortable with Zoom and the virtual platform.
The Library reserves the right to approve or disapprove any application. In the event of an emergency, the Library Director reserves the right to cancel meeting room reservations.
