The Alchemist
Paulo Coelho's masterpiece tells the mystical story of Santiago, an Andalusian shepherd boy who yearns to travel in search of a worldly treasure. His quest will lead him to riches far different—and far more satisfying—than he ever imagined. Santiago's journey teaches us about the essential wisdom of listening to our hearts, of recognizing opportunity and learning to read the omens strewn along life's path, and, most importantly, to follow our dreams. - From Goodreads.com
The Chilbury Ladies' Choir
During the war, most villages and cities were devoid of men. Chilbury was no exception. While the women were more than capable of taking over most of the duties, the vicar of the village church decided he would disband the choir. When the new music tutor declared they should have an all-ladies' choir, not all were so sure it would work. What developed was so much more than a choir.
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows
There were so many things I learned listening to this final book that I want to have a movie marathon and reread the books! Jim Dale's voice shows so many nuances that I missed I almost felt like it was a whole new book. I recommend listening to this series just to hear him. I miss this series as much now as I did when I read it the first time.
Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince (Harry Potter #6)
Even though I know what is coming in this book, it still hits hard. There is so much happening in this story that is dark and fore-boding, but also such a forecast of the last book. It is fun to see Harry as Quidditch captain and to see the developing relationships. Ready to finish out the series in audio, but may have to take time to re-read them all now.
Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix (Harry Potter #5)
This is an intense story which has very sad parts. I loved listening to it because I caught all kinds things I missed when I read it and things that aren't in the movie. Jim Dale is so amazing to listen to that I am eagerly making my way through the series!

Henry "Monty" Montague was the very definition of a rogue. Born into privilege, he continuously was bringing shame down onto his family name. Traveling with his life long friend, Percy (with whom he was in love) his sister and a chaperone, Monty seemed unable to curtail his bad behavior. Homeward My Heart
Daughters of Fortune book 4 The 'war to end all wars' is over, but the Cold War is just beginning. Monty is caught with his pants down (literally) and sort of steals a little something from the King's prime minister Bourbon.
Cleopatra's Moon
I wasn't familiar with any stories about Cleopatra's children, so this was quite interesting. I can't imagine what Selene went through just trying to survive. It would be bad enough to lose both of your parents to suicide, but to lose your siblings, including a twin, would be almost to bare. I may have to see if I can find any more about her life.
Delilah Dirk and the Pillars of Hercules (Delilah Dirk #3)
This Delilah Dirk was even better than the last two. I really liked the connections to mythology. Double-crosses and action are rampart and laughter as well. She is a true adventurer!
Malika - Warrior Queen
Malika is a African warrior queen who has united her kingdom. Yet she still has battles to fight. The Ming Dynasty from China has come to Africa to take over. Malika has aligned herself with her neighboring country of Atala and its king Bass, who just happens to be her secret husband. She faces opposition from her counselors, but prevails in battle.
Delilah Dirk and the King's Shilling
Delilah Dirk has been accused of treason in this second adventure. Delilah is many things but a traitor is not one of them. The real traitor is none other than an English Major and he will stop at nothing to bring Delilah Dirk down and help France win the war. So Delilah and Mr. Selim are off to England to clear her name. Turns out that name isn't actually Delilah Dirk. We get to meet her real family and see her move around in English society. This is another fantastic adventure. I can't wait to read more.
