Petitioning at MRRL
The Missouri River Regional Library (MRRL) allows individuals and non-profit or governmental agencies to provide information about community activities or issues, to acquire signatures for initiative petitions and/or to complete research questionnaires. Allowing the use of Library property for the public expression of opinion does not constitute Library endorsement of the opinions or ideas of those individuals and organizations.

Procedure:
The above activities are allowed on library property, with the following exceptions: petitioning and survey taking are prohibited inside the Main Library and the Osage County Branch, under the main library’s covered entrance and within eight (8) feet of the front doors of the Osage County Branch. Petitioners and survey takers must not impede traffic, block sidewalks, harass, or pursue customers.
