Monthly meeting

Rejuvenate your mind and body. All shapes, sizes and abilities are welcome. Bring a mat (or towel) to class if you have one, but these are not required. Drop-ins welcome. No charge – library program.

Have you ever been confused when hearing others talking about computers? Join us for our Computer Lingo class, where we'll go over various computer vocabulary to improve your knowledge and ability to speak about technology!

Join us for an extra-special storytime! As part of our 2024 Storytelling Festival, professional storytelling couple Mike and Nancee Micham will bring smiles to our faces through stories and song. Choose either the 10-10:30 a.m.

All ages. No reservations needed. Join us in the library park area (High St. side of the building) for a special outdoor storytime to celebrate the bookmobile on National Library Outreach Day.

Drop in and enjoy an open learning and play time featuring a variety of sensory and activity stations.

Join us in the Woodland Art Gallery of the Osage Branch for stories, songs and a whole lot of fun! Recommended for preschool ages.  No reservations needed. 

We will make a spring craft to take home.

Can you trace a picture? Then you can paint on glass! Each participant will select a picture frame and paint a picture of their choice on the glass. When you are finished, you'll have a masterpiece to enjoy or give away as a present.

Bring your favorite book to read to a trained therapy dog (TDI-Therapy Dogs International). Raina will be in the Children's department from 11:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. on April 10th, and 3:30 - 4:30 p.m. on April 24th.

It's National Library Week! Please join us in the park as MRRL appreciates our patrons in a BIG way with a free hotdog lunch, BIG games, and music by Those Guys in the MRRL Park from 11am-1pm.

Reading Heroes is a program providing one-on-one reading enrichment sessions for kids who've completed grades K-2.  These sessions are led by a retired reading teacher and are available in half hour increments from 1:30 - 5:30 p.m.

The library's Bookmobile will be parked outside the Osage County Library to celebrate National Outreach Day during National Library Week.  Take a tour of the bookmobile and give Jon a high five for all of his hard work!

Film study group

Every now and then an afternoon needs to be dedicated to creative, relaxing endeavors. Join us at the library's new Afternoon Creative Club where you can meet other gamers and crafters.

Kids in the Kitchen is a fun hands-on program offered by the University of Missouri Extension that teaches kids how to prepare simple recipes and encourages them to be active and to eat healthier meals and snacks.

The library's Bookmobile will be parked outside Blair Oaks Elementary School on the second Thursday of each month, from 4-6 p.m.

Visit us for a variety of books, CDs and DVDs.

Hang out and make art with other artsy teens! We've got the supplies, you bring the creativity.

Join us for our new Junk Journaling Group! Each month, Alexandria A., a local Junk Journaling Pro, will show us a new technique and then we'll get to incorporate it in our junk journaling time!

Attorney Stephen J. Stark will discuss wills and their importance and whether a trust is something you need to consider for your future planning.

Are you an adventurer at heart? Play Dungeons & Dragons with us! The excitement is real and the escapades are never-ending! You might stomp your way through an army of orcs, or go on a noble quest to rescue a whole town. You decide!

Join us for a family movie in our Art Gallery. We will be serving popcorn to enjoy during the show. Blankets and pillows welcome!

Everyone needs some time that is just for them. The Adult Art Club is for anyone who just wants to enjoy some art projects with others. The library will provide some assorted supplies that everyone is welcome to use.
