The Missouri River Regional Library is hosting a series of September book discussions on This Place of Promise: A Historian's Perspective on 200 Years of Missouri History, the 2022 Capital READ.
Reading Heroes is a program providing one-on-one reading enrichment sessions for kids who've completed grades K-2. These sessions are led by a retired reading teacher and are available in half hour increments from 2:00 - 5:30 p.m.
Looking for your next great read? Instead of reading the same book each month, members read a book of their own choice related to the theme of the month. This month's themes are long ago and far away. Feel free to interpret that however you like!
