Description
Our new Missouri State Climatologist and Director of the Missouri Climate Center, Dr. Zack Leasor, will help us understand what is causing this. He will also cover crop losses we have experienced due to these extremes and what we may expect if current trends continue.
Dr. Zack Leasor has an undergraduate degree in meteorology from Western Kentucky University and graduate degrees from Ohio State University, where he was a postdoctoral researcher, funded by the National Science Foundation. Zach developed and taught a new course on drought as a climate hazard. Zack is also a new dad and in his spare time enjoys spending time with his family, running, and passionately following many of his favorite sports teams. Please come and hear about the extreme conditions we are seeing and what we can expect.
It is free and everyone is invited to hear this dynamic speaker.
