Description
Help Wanted, a novel by Adelle Waldman, brings together a team of workers at a big-box store in a small town--and follows their working and personal relationships, both good and bad.
If you've ever worked at a big-box store, we'd love to hear your stories as part of the library's 2025 Capital READ program. What was most important in your time in that store? Did your work there help with your future job prospects or career? Was it a memorable time in your life and why?
We're limiting the program to 25 participants, for space and listening considerations. If you'd like to share your big-box experiences at the library on April 14, register below.
We have a list of great programming leading up to Waldman's presentation and want you to join in on the fun! All Capital READ programs are located in the MRRL Art Gallery.
