Description

Maria Duhova Trevor has enjoyed a varied and successful career as a harpist in the US and Europe. In 2006, she moved to the US from Slovakia where she studied harp performance and did graduate work, later performing as a harpist with symphonies in her native country and in the Czech Republic. She is one of the most sought-after harpists in Missouri.

She currently serves as the principal harpist of the Springfield (MO) Symphony, as an adjunct instructor of harp at the University of Missouri and Truman State University, and maintains an active studio with students of a broad age range. She appears regularly with the Odyssey Chamber Music Series and is featured with numerous orchestras in the Midwest. She initiated a monthly program in Columbia, Harp and Healing, where she plays therapeutic music for those in need of healing.

Note that this program will take place at Grace Episcopal Church across the street from MRRL on Adams St.
