Description
A Korean-American family moves from California to a 50-acre farm in Arkansas in search of their own American Dream. This beautiful immigrant story was inspired by director Lee Isaac Chung's life experiences in the 1980s Ozarks. His family experienced significant culture shock but found resilience while making a new home in a strange culture and physical environment. The film received an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress, the Golden Glove Award for Best Foreign Language Film, and was nominated for many other awards.
