The Open World Leadership Center, an agency of the U.S. Congress in conjunction with Rotary International will send a delegation of Azerbaijan leaders in agriculture research and agriculture business to Jefferson City, MO. Join us at the library for a presentation about their country and culture.
Founded in 1999 by Congress, the Open World Leadership Center maintains a vast network of more than 28,000 alumni in strategic countries including Russia, Ukraine, and others in the Balkans, Caucuses, Central Asia and Eastern Europe. Open World offers one of the most effective U.S. exchange programs to promote mutually beneficial options for depolarized engagement between future national leaders. The Rotary Clubs of Jefferson City have over a combined 188 years of service to Jefferson City and the surrounding community to promote goodwill and peace. Rotary continues to serve the Jefferson City area and international communities to enhance the lives of others through a multitude of projects taken on through local clubs. This project was organized by a committee made up of Rotarians from the Jefferson City Breakfast, Jefferson City Evening, the Jefferson City West and Jefferson City Rotary Clubs.
