Dusti Bowling, author of the Mark Twain Nominee Insignificant Events in the Life of a Cactus, talks about the amazing people and places that inspire her stories, focusing on her beloved home state of Arizona. She has many pictures, videos, and specimens to share with students, including tarantula molts, snake and lizard skins, and desert creatures in resin.
