Drew Amidei from Missouri Jobs with Justice will discuss what solidarity means and how community members can support and show up powerfully for low-wage workers in today's economy.

We have a list of great programming leading up to Waldman's presentation and want you to join in on the fun!  All Capital READ programs are located in the MRRL Art Gallery.

April 14, 2:15 - 4:15 p.m.  Come and share first-hand stories! MRRL's Unboxed program is for people who have worked at a big-box stores. We want to hear your perspective! This event requires registration.  

April 16 and April 21, both from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. Two general discussions. Join us for one or both.

April 21, 6:30 - 8:00 p.m.  MRRL will host a Jobs with Justice program with Drew Amidei from Missouri Jobs with Justice. He will discuss what solidarity means and how community members can support and show up powerfully for low-wage workers in the economy.  

April 23, 6:30 - 8:00 p.m. Thoughts on Our Changing Economy Join us as Dr. Darius E. Watson shares his thoughts and observations on the economy and its effects on workers.

Adelle Waldman the author of Missouri River Regional Library’s 20th annual Capital READ selection, Help Wanted, will visit the library on Tuesday, April 29, 6:30 - 8:30 p.m., in the MRRL Art Gallery.
