Madeline Matson has been chosen as the 2023 Most Impactful Staff Member from City Magazine. The Impact Awards are an opportunity to recognize the people that make an impact in Jefferson City. Awardees are nominated by the public and recognized in City Magazine.  Madeline has worked at Missouri River Regional Library for almost 16 years, and in that time she has made a huge impact on the community.

“Both the quantity and the quality of Madeline's programming is truly impressive,” says Claudia Young, Director. “She has changed the face of library programming at MRRL offering a host of programs that had never been available before; ranging from developing a local authors showcase to once hosting KBIA's Views of the News along with adding new culinary, wine tasting, and music programs to her great idea for a monthly lecture series with Lincoln University.”
