All About the Birds: Missouri's State Ornithologist

Kristen Heath-Acre, Missouri's state ornithologist, will describe her wide-ranging responsibilities working with the Missouri Department of Conservation and other conservation partners. She promotes bird conservation across the state, monitors birds,  conducts research, and collaborates on habitat restoration projects. Her particular area of research is the reintroduction of the brown-headed nuthatch to the Missouri Ozarks.
