Resume Workshop with Jeannie Worthen

Bring a copy of your resume and Jeannie will show you how to make it better. Tips on layout, working and style will give you a recipe to stand out above the crowd when you are job hunting.
Jeannie Worthen is a writer in mid-Missouri who has worked in State government and is now a full-time freelance writer. One of her many jobs gave her much experience in resume writing/grooming.

Thursday Morning Yoga

Join the library staff as they start the day off with an hour of Yoga, every Thursday at 9am in the MRRL Story Hour room. Each session explores a Yoga DVD from MRRL's collection - come join Kira and Brian as they work through these Yoga exercises and poses.

The library has many online services that can help you with your school work. This session will be an overview of three of these databases: Mango Languages, Learning Express Library, and the Gale Databases and Collections. Join us in the 209 Adams Conference room on March 11th at 6:30pm for a look at these very useful online resources, brought to you by your library!
