New Resources At MRRL

academic_onefile_lgToday, July 1st, brings new resources to our Online Resources page on our website. We are now making the Gale databases available to our patrons, both inside the library and (from the page linked above) from home. What new resources can you find? We have the same Academic and General journal and magazine databases that you are used to seeing, as well as collections of full-text articles from popular magazines and a new Spanish-language article database. We still have homework help databases for kids from kindergarten through highschool, including a new one just for junior high school students.

With this new database collection, we've added to our collection of business and company information with a Business & Company Resource Center, a Small Business Resource Center and a collection of Business and Company Profiles.

It's not all business and research, though - we have a Culinary Arts Collection that will give you access to hundreds of food and nutrition magazines (including recipes!) as well as other databases that will give you information in various formats - including video - about the health topics that concern you.

All of this information and access is free, with your library card from the Missouri River Regional Library - click on any of the links above (from home - if you are inside the library, you'll need to go to our Inside the Library page), enter your last name and library card number and you are in. With that little library card, you get access to a wealth of information and entertainment!
