Encyclopedia Britannica Stops Print Production

The Encyclopedia Britannica just announced that the 2010 edition it put out a couple of years ago will be the last print edition of the encyclopedia. It will still be available at the link above online, though! In recognition of this milestone, the online version of the Encyclopedia will be free all this week, so you can go research any topic that you would like - for free - this week only.  Of course, if you still need access to an encyclopedia after this week, MRRL has both the World Book Encyclopedia and the New World Encyclopedia (part of the Ebsco database) available for free any time - all you need is a valid library card to access these materials from home! Stop by our Online Resources page to find encyclopedias, full text magazine and journal articles and more - all free to you, our card-holding patrons!
