Preschool Story Time Tuesdays

Each Tuesday, 10:30 - 11:00 am
MRRL Storyhour Room

30 minutes of picture book reading for ages 3-5.

Family Movie Nights

6:00-8:00 pm
Family event. Bring a folding chair, sleeping bag, blanket or pillow and join the fun. Light snacks and drinks provided.
Note: This is an after-hours event. The front library doors will close at 6:15.

LEGO Block Party nights

Ages 5-12. Limited to the first 45 participants on the evening of the event. A sign-in sheet will be available 30-minutes before start time.

Monday, June 30, 11:00 am - Noon: Fly Away
Fold, decorate, and fly paper airplanes and helicopters. Zoom through hoops, land on pads, and complete goofy challenges.

Monday, July 14, 11:00 am - Noon: Sink & Float
Sinking boats, dancing raisins, ketchup packet divers. Explore bouyancy through hands-on experiments.

Monday, July 21, 7:00 - 8:00 pm: Mini Machines
Levers in action! Build and test mini-marshmallow catapults, and design your own button to press together in a machine.

Monday, July 28, 11:00 am - Noon: In the Air
Today is all about air. Fun with sound waves, bubbles, and even hovercraft.

Monday, August 11, 11:00 am - Noon: Build-a-Bot
Build your own robot from a variety of wacky materials.

Monday, August 18, 7:00 - 8:00 pm: Under the Stars
Draw and name your own constellation, and then add it to our inflatable indoor planetarium!

Beyond story time! An hour of reading, music and activities, all with a weekly theme. All ages welcome. No reservations needed. Day care groups are welcome to attend, but please call ahead to let us know. Contact Eric Lyon, 634-6064, ext. 229.
